Meet Our New Operations Manager, Songi
We’re thrilled to be opening Home Farm Glamping for its 12th summer season. The meadow is in fantastic condition, and we’re so excited to be welcoming guests from the first week of May. We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce our new Operations Manager, Songi.
Songi is a born-and-raised East Londoner but feels most at home when surrounded by nature. With a Norwegian father and a mother from Hong Kong, she has grown up immersed in a blend of city life and the outdoors. At home, she can usually be found pottering in her garden, looking after her 26 indoor plants, or experimenting with fermenting various bits and bobs. She’s incredibly active, playing football and helping to manage an 8-a-side team in East London, as well as occasionally taking on triathlons.
Songi has previously organised her own wellness camps, creating spaces to make nature more accessible for women of colour, and also volunteers at Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. Professionally, she has experience running operations for a plant-based recipe kit company called ‘Grubby’, leading partnerships for a women-focused charity, and working across various sales roles. She brings a wealth of energy, organisation, and passion for people and the outdoors to Home Farm, and is very excited to be joining the team.
She can’t wait to welcome you to Home Farm this summer!
