It's flexible enough to host a formal, seated celebration or a relaxed, all-ages celebration — and because you bring in your own caterer, DJ and styling, the day can be built entirely around your family's traditions and taste.
“We dry hired this beautiful site for our son's Bar Mitzvah, and also hired the glamping tents/yurts so that we could stay on the night and make the most of the weekend. The site staff were incredibly supportive and helpful, and no request was too big or too small. We hosted an extravaganza of a festival, and the site looked just amazing! Exclusive hire of the new marquee (12m x 18m) and surrounding grounds
Access to our communal fire pit and outdoor BBQ areas (weather dependant)

Flexible layout — the marquee is a blank canvas for your caterer, DJ and stylist to set up as needed
The Barn
Bathroom facilities ( 8 toilets and 1 accessible friendly bathroom). 6 showers if you decided to add glamping.
Not Included
Catering and alcohol (guests bring their own caterer — kosher caterers welcome — who must hold public liability insurance)
DJ, live music or other entertainment
Florals, styling and decor hire
Overnight accommodation (our bell tents and yurts can be booked separately if guests want to stay over)

What are the options?
Food & Dining
Bring in your own kosher caterer or your own food.
If you bring in your own caterer, the menu is entirely up to you — including kosher caterers, so the food can reflect exactly what matters to your family.
Music & Dancing
Whether it's a DJ, a live band, or both, we love a full dancefloor. The marquee is built for it — plenty of room to dance the night away under festoon lighting, with the openness of the countryside around you rather than four plain walls. Happy for amplified music to run until 22:30.
Decorations & Styling
The marquee is yours to transform. Bring your own theme, colours and styling — from table settings to statement lighting — and use the natural surroundings (trees, open grass, fire pits) as part of the backdrop. We just ask that nothing is fixed or nailed into the marquee structure or trees, and that anything like confetti or glitter is avoided so the grounds stay in good shape for the next family.

Yes - our countryside setting just outside London, combined with the new marquee, makes it a lovely alternative to traditional venues. It works equally well for a more formal celebration or a relaxed family party.

Our new marquee (12m x 18m) seats up to 170 guests for a formal meal, or up to 230 for a standing reception.

Yes, both are welcome.

You're welcome to bring your own caterer, including a kosher caterer - we just ask that they hold public liability insurance.

Absolutely! The marquee is a blank canvas. We just ask that nothing is fixed to the structure or trees, and that confetti/glitter is avoided ( you must leave the venue as you found it).

As far as possible (ideally a few months in advance)! Although sometimes we are able to offer something last minute - please get in touch to discuss further. Our site is open May - September only.

Yes - the open grounds, communal fire pit and space to explore make it a great setting for a mixed-age celebration, with plenty of room for kids and teens to enjoy themselves alongside the adults.
