What’s on at Home Farm Glamping…
Every week during the summer we will be hosting a feast under our huge oak tree… good food, fresh air and an evening round the campfire. And if you need to be back in the office on Friday morning we’ll help you get there!
How does it work: book yourself into a bell tent or yurt for Thursday night, bring your loved one or a group of friends, and put SUPPER UNDER THE OAK in the booking notes. We’ll email you to confirm any dietary requirements you have.
Supper will be served under our big oak tree, or under our lovely Indian tent if the weather is bad. There will be a set menu (always with a vegetarian option) and your meal will be served at one long table so you will get to meet new like minded people or stick together as a group, whatever you prefer.
Its BYOB so we’ll provide glasses, big jugs of tap water and ice buckets but bring any other drinks you want with you.
Cost: for our opening night on Thursday 11th July your ticket to your feast is included in your tent booking. After that tickets will be £10 per head for people staying, and £20 per head for people not staying.
Timings: we know most of you will be coming from work, so supper itself wont be served until 8pm, but don’t worry we’ll make sure there are plenty of nibbles for any of you arriving earlier. The campfire will be lit at 9pm, and anyone not staying with us must be offsite by 11pm (the Jubilee line stops at midnight).
The next morning: you’ll wake up cosy in your tent and can listen to the wildlife and birds around you. There are hot showers (bring yourself a towel) and the tube back into London is a short taxi ride away. When you have booked we will give you the option of adding a morning bacon roll to your order, and the option of a taxi to either Stanmore (Jubilee Line) or Elstree & Borehamwood (Thameslink) to get you back to work on time. We’d like to think its a pretty amazing way to be able to answer the “what did you get up to last night?” chat in your office!!
